Hey there! We’re Alora, a community dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals and caregivers. Our mission is to build a mindful community through meaningful connections, creating a space where everyone feels supported. We do this through events and support groups, both online and in-person. We’re looking for someone who loves organizing and making things happen. If you’re the kind of person who enjoys bringing people together and keeping everything on track, we’d love to have you on board as our Program Coordinator!
As a Program Coordinator at Alora, you’ll play a key role in bringing our events to life, both online and in person. This role will involve planning and booking events that align with our mindful mission, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly by staying organized and keeping track of all the details. Communication is crucial—you’ll be working closely with partners and our team to make sure everyone’s aligned. If you’re comfortable with tools such Google Calendar and Zoom, you’re already ahead of the game. And when things don’t go as planned, your ability to adapt and solve problems on the fly will be invaluable.
We’re looking for someone who loves to organize and manage events, is a strong communicator, and has a bit of tech knowledge—nothing too fancy, just the basics. An eye for detail is essential to keep everything on track, and a passion for community and making a positive impact is at the heart of what we do. If this sounds like you and you’re excited to be part of a community like Alora, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s make some magic happen together! ✨
How it increases happiness
This position is about creating real, tangible change. Neurodivergent older teens, adults, individuals with IDD, and caregivers often struggle to find spaces that truly understand and support them. In this role, you’ll help build those mindful spaces where people feel seen, respected, and connected. You’ll get to see the direct impact of your work—whether it’s the joy on someone’s face during an event or the growth of a community that feels more supported and empowered because of your efforts. It’s a role where the results are clear, and the difference you make is something you can genuinely feel good (and happy!) about.
