As a class assistant, a volunteer will help set up the class (including washing produce, sanitizing tables and helping people sign waivers), assisting during the class (including distributing ingredients to the participants, helping keep the tables clean and interacting with the participants), and finally, helping clean up after the class (including washing dishes, helping pack up and cleaning tables).
How it increases happiness
There are few things better than getting to bond over a good home cooked meal. That is what happens in these classes! You get to see first hand the joy, excitement and learning that our clients go through in any given class as they are taught how to make a meal for the first time, or get to try a type of food they have never had before. These classes are very informative, lots of fun, and surely to leave you with a smile on your face and happiness in your heart.
